About Us

Artisan Flooring Limited was established in March 2005 with the aim of providing quality floor covering installations for a wide variety of end users in an ever more competitive market. Our contracts managers, jointly, have a wealth of over 50 years experience in the flooring industry. We currently employ 8 senior floor layers who each have a minimum of 15 years floor covering installation experience, 3 apprentices who are nearing the completion of their training and have completed the CSCS card certification scheme and 1 apprentice.

We hope this shows our commitment to training and our intentions to providing floor coverings to the industry for a long time to come. We also know competent floor layers who we can reliably employ to carry out installations for us under a sub contract basis. Our aim is to only use directly employed floor layers and we hope that the number on our books increases steadily with the growth of the company.

We are able to provide all types of floor coverings including carpet tiles, contract carpet, vinyl sheet, vinyl tiles, traditional fit carpet on underlay and gripper, linoleum, Amtico, real wood and laminate flooring.

Some of our clients include the following, Gwalia Housing, City and County of Swansea, Carmarthenshire County Council, Pembroke County Borough Council, Neath and Port Talbot County Council, Rhondda Cynon Taff, Bridgend County Borough Council and various other local authorities. We also work for a large number of building contractors in the South Wales area and greatly value the building of these relationships as being the key to our future.

We pride ourselves on providing a prompt and professional service to our customer base and a quality installation on site. We can provide names of people from the above organisations as references but we hope that the people we distribute this portfolio to will know us from past working relationships and we hope to continue and strengthen these relationships.

The company is more than capable of carrying out a wide range of floor covering installations but we realise in this day and age that health, safety and quality must be in order for us to be considered for future business.

We have all the required liability insurances and we have our health and safety policies that incorporate method statements and risk assessments. We also employ Crownford Limited who assist us with our health and safety issues. We realise that health and safety process is an on going process and the safety of our operatives is of paramount importance. We have also recently been awarded CHAS registration.

All of our senior fitters have qualified for their CSCS cards and we have joined the CSCS scheme to keep these cards up to date and to make sure that eventually all of our operatives are fully CSCS qualified.
